Ghanaian Reggae Dancehall musician Shatta Wale, known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah has finally told the story behind his misunderstanding with fellow musician Sarkodie.
In a Twitter space interview with TV Host Serwaa Amihere, the outspoken award-winning musician revealed that he and Sarkodie’s long-standing ‘beef’ is because of money issues pertaining to the Nigerian telecommunication network GLO.
According to Shatta Wale, he had called Sarkodie to agree with him to charge GLO an amount of $150,000 in relation to a deal but Sarkodie went behind him to take 120,000 Ghana Cedi from GLO.

He stated that the seemingly sabotage attitude of Sarkodie got him peeved because he was thinking of helping Sarkodie that was why he called him after a meting with GLO officials.
Shatta Wale and Sarkodie who were once good friends and gone ahead to feature on the same song are now at loggerheads, thereby causing their fans to ask questions.
