The New Patriotic Party’s Presidential Aspirant Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has stated categorically that he will not step down in the upcoming NPP’s flagbearer nomination election.
In a video cited by www.crediblefilla.com, Hon. Agyapong who doubles as MP for Assin Central was seen speaking to some group of men concerning his political ambitions.
To a rousing applauds, the tough-talking politician stated ” I am not going to step down for anybody. If you’ve won, you’ve won”, he added in the Akan dialect Twi.
Hon. Agyapong further expressed his dissatisfaction at the mishaps that occurred during the just-ended NPP’s super delegate elections which saw Vice President Bawumia winning.
After the elections, one contestant Hon. Alan Kyeremanten complained about an attack on his polling agent, leading to his resignation from the upcoming delegates elections in November 2023.
