Ghanaian music sensation Black Sherif has come tops at the Headies Awards after winning the enviable award as West African Artiste of the Year 2023.
The 16th Headies Awards which was held in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States of America saw the young Ghanaian star rewarded for his hard work in the year of review.
Black Sherif won the West African Artiste of the Year award over his fellow Ghanaian musicians Gyakie and Camidoh as well as Liberian artiste The Therapist who were all in the same category.
Since he broke onto the music scene, Blacko as he is affectionately called has been on top of his game, making him win Artiste of the Year at Ghana’s biggest music awards event The VGMA.
The young artiste have put Ghana on the map by releasing hit songs that have made waves in Ghana, Nigeria, USA, UK among others as he has been performing at big shows all across the world.
